              Dear Milton,
            We hope you will join us at the following event.

               Local Historic Districts
                  In December 2004, the Austin City Council authorized the
establishment of local historic districts. Austin will be joining other
major Texas cities that establish these districts to protect areas of
historic significance.

                  The Heritage Society invites you to preview the local
historic district process. Hear a detailed explanation of the protections
and incentives these districts will be provide. Steve Sadowsky, City
Preservation Officer, will explain and receive input on the district
nomination process in development, and answer questions. For more details
