I have received some communications from Steve Brown's group concerning the
possibility of including more large upscale models in their project. These
plans would in no way effect the height and density maximums that we
negotiated. They are wanting to get our opinions on amenities and size of
units that might interest "empty nesters".
We are continuing to explore the market feasibility of a number of 2 story
"townhouse" type units that would be built on the upper levels of our
project and represent the higher end segment of our market. We are studying
what the market would support in that type of housing product. Would you be
able to circulate these ideas around your neighborhood group to get their
feedback to help us formulate this important unit mix? We are currently
thinking that we could design as many as 12 units of this type of larger
unit which would reduce the total number of units to be built. Message sent
by Allan Nutt, architect for the project.
Thanks for your assistance. We are also currently working on a demolition
permit for the "lovely" building.
The following communication is from Roger Cauvin. If you are interested in
participating you can reach him at roger at cauvin.org .

"Gayle,
Steve Brown gave me your e-mail address and suggested I touch base with you.
My company is doing market research for Navona Partners to help them
determine the proper mix of floor plans and amenities for some new
condomiums.
He said that you and others might be able to offer some insights,
particularly insights into the preferences of "empty nest" buyers.
I am doing two primary things to research the market:
1. Interviewing prospective buyers and other folks with insight into the
market.
2. Conducting an on-line survey.
I would very much appreciate your suggestions about folks I can interview
and ways I can reach prospective buyers to take the on-line survey.
Roger"
I thought this info might be of interest to some of you. Thanks for your
consideration.
