Folks in JHNA,

Mr. Hale has come forward with a 40% smaller plan for 19th & West: 1.) 47 units, 94 cars on 2 floors and 58 feet high and double set backs on top 2 floors. 2.) He will let us have significant say in facade design and 3.) use of funds
($50-80k+/-???) for public works around the neighborhood beyond his building
(sidewalks, street lights, utility poles, street changes, etc....These suggestions are mine, not theirs and we need to discuss & decide these among us all in JHNA later, if we go forward).

To make it work expeditiously (this is his #1 need) Mr. Hale still wants MF6 with MF4 density and height controlled by covenant with us & City Council and he would help defend the precedent to keep other projects at the MF4 density. If board of adjustment changes would be required under MF4 it would take 2 rounds minimum of 2-3 months apiece. This is what he wants to avoid.

I am announcing a JHNA meeting for Thursday at 7pm at my home (1606 Pearl). Mr. Hale will be there to make a presentation, then we will excuse him so we can discuss this matter. Folks who have questions of the developer &/or wish to meet him, this is your chance. I have 3 copies of the plans, letter, pictures and have placed a set with Meg Meisenbach & I for your review prior to that time. One more set can leave my house with whoever wishes to come by and get it.
